Vaginal Dryness & Atrophy

You may have expected some "hot" moments in your menopause journey. But inflammation or dryness? If "down there" just doesn't feel like it used to, you're not alone. As a result of menopause, a decline in estrogen levels can cause dryness in and around the vagina. Symptoms of vaginal dryness can include itching, burning, and irritation. Another symptom associated with menopause is called vaginal atrophy. Vaginal atrophy includes narrowing and shortening of the vagina, symptoms you may not even be able to feel. But, for some, if not treated, vaginal atrophy can worsen over time.

Treatment

Vivelle-Dot® is proven to help control moderate to severe vaginal dryness and atrophy. If you're only using estrogen therapy to treat dryness, itching, and burning in and around your vagina, talk with your healthcare professional about whether a different treatment or medicine without estrogens might be better for you.
